How to Add and Edit Pages on SDP Platform

SDP Platform is an AI-powered website builder designed to help you create, host, and manage professional websites in hours rather than months. This guide covers how to access your account, add new pages (like Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policies), and edit your site's footer.

1. Accessing the Platform

Search and Navigate: Open Google and search for "SDP-Platform" or go directly to sdp-platform.com.

Sign In: Click Get Started or Log In. The most common method is Login With Google, but you can also use your email and password.

2. Choosing Your Project

Once logged in, you will be taken to the My Websites dashboard.

The dashboard displays all websites associated with your account.

Click on the specific website you want to manage to open its management interface.

3. Adding a New Page

From the left-hand sidebar, navigate to the Pages section.

Create New: Click the + New Page button in the top right corner.

Enter Details: * Page Title: Type in the name of your page (e.g., "Terms and Conditions").

Template: Select a theme template (e.g., "Blank Page Template").

Submit: Click Submit to save the initial page.

4. Configuring Page SEO & Meta Details

After creating the page, you will be directed to the Page Details tab. It is important to fill these out for SEO:

URL Slug: This is the link that appears in the browser (e.g., terms-and-conditions).

Title: This appears at the top of the browser tab.

Meta Description: Provide a brief summary of the page to help search engines like Google understand your content.

Verification: Look for the green checkmark next to fields; this indicates the platform has automatically saved your changes.

5. Building the Page Content

To add text or visuals, click the Page Builder button in the top right.

Add Component: Click Add Component on the left sidebar.

Select Content Type: Search for a component like "HTML Content" or "Default".

Edit Content: * Click on the Title or Body sections in the left editor.

Paste or type your content into the text editor.

The center of the screen provides a real-time preview of how the page looks.

6. Managing the Site Footer

To ensure your new pages are accessible to users, you should add them to your website's footer:

Go to your Home page (or any existing page) in the Page Builder.

Scroll to the Footer section in the preview.

Click on a footer item (like "Company") to open the Edit Component Field.

Click Add Link.

Enter a Label (e.g., "Privacy Policy") and the URL (e.g., /privacy-policy).

Click Publish (the black button with an animated yellow dot) to push these changes live to your entire site.
