SDP Platform needs your domain’s DNS to be on Cloudflare before you can connect it. This works the same way whether you bought the domain on Namecheap, GoDaddy, Google, or another host.
You are only changing nameservers. You still own the domain at your current registrar.
1. Add the domain in Cloudflare
Log in to Cloudflare, or create a free account.
Click Add a site or Add a domain.
Enter your domain, such as example.com.
Choose the Free plan if you are asked.
Cloudflare will show two nameservers. Copy both of them.
2. Change nameservers at your registrar
Log in where you bought the domain.
Open the domain settings and find Nameservers or DNS.
Choose custom nameservers.
Paste the two nameservers from Cloudflare and save.
Namecheap: go to Domain List, click Manage, open Nameservers, choose Custom DNS, paste both nameservers, and save.
GoDaddy: open the domain, choose DNS or Nameservers, select custom nameservers, paste both, and save.
Google Domains or Squarespace: open DNS settings, switch to custom nameservers, paste both, and save.
3. Wait until Cloudflare is active
Go back to Cloudflare and refresh the domain.
Wait until Cloudflare shows the domain as active. This can take a few minutes, and sometimes longer.
Do not add the domain in SDP until Cloudflare is active.
4. Connect it in SDP

Pro-Tip
If SDP still says the nameservers must point to Cloudflare, wait a few more minutes and try again. Keep the two Cloudflare nameservers only. Do not mix them with the old ones.
