Blacklist Countries & IPs Per Website - SDP Platform

You can now control unwanted traffic on your website using Blacklisted Countries/Ips in SDP Platform.

This feature lets you block visitors by:

  • IP address (specific users or bots)
  • Country code (2-letter code like US, GB, KE)

It’s a simple way to protect your site from spam, abuse, or traffic you don’t want.

Where to Find It

  1. Open your website in SDP Platform
  2. Go to Advanced
  3. Click Blacklisted Countries/Ips

How to Use It

Add a blacklist item

  1. Click Add Item
  2. Choose Type:
    • IP Address
    • Country Code
  3. Enter the value
  4. Save

Edit or remove an item

  • Use the actions in the list to Edit or Delete any rule.

How It Works

Once you add an item:

  • Matching visitors are blocked from accessing your site.
  • Blocking happens automatically in the background.
  • Your blacklist remains tied to your website/domain.

Tips for Admins

  • Use IP blocking for repeated abusive visitors or bots.
  • Use country blocking only when needed for your business.
  • Review your list regularly to keep it accurate.
  • Start small, then expand rules based on real traffic patterns.

Important Notes

  • Country entries must be valid 2-letter country codes.
  • IP entries must be valid IP addresses.
  • Your plan may include limits for how many blacklist items you can add.
